How to determine fluence in bench-scale UV-LED setups?

A new paper has been published on fluence determination in UV-LED setups, taking the quasi-point source properties of UV-LEDs into consideration. The standard method by Bolton and Linden (2003) for mercury UV lamps is followed with modifications to tune it up for UV-LED setups.

Review paper on UV inactivation of viruses

Working with Japanese Red Cross, I have published the first paper on UV-LED disinfection of human platelet concentrates, which can potentially enhance the safety of blood transfusion. Very challenging and interesting application!

A review paper on chronic kidney disease in Sri Lanka has been accepted by the Journal of Water and Health. This issue is sometimes called “a mystery in Sri Lanka”, because the cause of the disease remains unknown for decades in spite of local and international efforts to reveal it. This review paper covers most recent outstanding research to understand this public health issue.
